Portuguese Roots, Welsh Heart
The dragon and the daffodil are Walesβs proudest symbols, and they sit at the heart of every bottle. The grapes, though, are pure Portugal: native varieties grown for generations and shaped by long summers and Atlantic breezes. CastelΓ£o and Arinto are among the countryβs most traditional grapes, and they give these wines their character and freshness. The result is a wine with real roots, poured from Cardiff to your table.
Why Dragons Daffodil?
Dragonβs Daffodil brings together two places we love: the sun-soaked vineyards of Portugal and the spirit of Wales. Each year we select grapes from carefully chosen vineyards and produce just 987 bottles, so every one is something special. The red, made from CastelΓ£o and Alicante Bouschet, is deep and generous, with red fruit, spice and dark chocolate. The white blends AntΓ£o Vaz and Arinto into something bright and fresh, full of lemon and white flowers. Two wines, one story, made to be shared.
